ACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION 2026 - 2027

Dear Parents of Grade 7/8 Students or higher grade.

The Sacramental Preparation Program for Confirmation will be starting in October.  If you want your child to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation this school year, you must register your child to the catechism program.  Registration form link and further infomation is below.  Registration forms and copies of baptismal certificates and a registration fee of $50.00 cash or cheque made out to St. Mary's Parish, can be dropped off at the parish office.  Please make sure they are dropped off at the office before Thursday October 1st. 

Classes will be in-person.  ATTENDANCE IS A MUST.

If your child has special needs, please let us know; we are happy to work with them at thir individual level.

There will be an Orientation Day on Thursday October 8th at 5:30pm in the Church Hall.  We encourage parents and students to attend.

SPONSORS

 Those who are asked to be sponsors must be over 16-years-old or older at time of Confirmation themselves, must be baptized in the Roman Catholic Church and must have received the Sacrament of Confirmation themselves.  They must be living a Catholic way of life, practising their faith by regular Sunday Mass attendance and if married, having been married in the Catholic Church.  The sponsor serves as an example and model to the candidate who is to be Confirmed.
