World Day of Prayer 2026

AN ONLINE EVENT RECOMMENDED BY THE OFFICE FOR ECUMENICAL AND INTERFAITH RELATIONS

The World Day of Prayer (WDP) has been active for nearly 100 years. It’s motto, “Informed Prayer and Prayerful Action” is a global ecumenical movement bringing Christians of various traditions together to observe a common day of prayer each year. The theme for this year’s service is “I Will Give You Rest: Come” based on Matthew 11:28-30 and was written by Christian women in Nigeria. It is an opportunity to enrich our faith and grow in closeness to Christ.
